The mission of Your Child's Place is to make a difference in the life of every child we serve, by enriching the social, emotional, and educational development of the child, while supporting the child's complex medical needs.

Too often, the lives of children with complex medical needs, and those of their families, revolve around medical appointments, procedures, and limitations. This can leave little opportunity for other family needs to be met, for relaxed family social time, or for the child to simply play, make friends, and be a child. It is our mission to change that, and to allow each child we serve to enjoy being a child, and to develop their fullest potential.

By providing a childcare experience where children's medical needs can be met, we are also allowing children to be children. An individual treatment and educational plan is developed for each child who attends "Your Child's Place", by a team that includes our educational and medical staff, the child family, and the child's physicians. While daily activities work to accomplish the goals set forth in that plan, children enjoy the interactions with each other, and the opportunities for play that most children take for granted. Parents, in the meantime, are able to meet other family responsibilities, secure in the knowledge that their child is being well cared for, and is enjoying social and educational opportunities that will enrich his or her development.

Your Child's Place is truly a unique and special place.
